Prof.Dr.Ata Nevzat Yalcin was born in Ankara, in 1960. He graduated from Ankara University, School of Medicine in 1985. He became a specialist on Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology in 1992.He became an Assistant Professor in 1994 and Associate Professor in 1996 in Pamukkale University, School of Medicine in Denizli, Turkey. In 2001 he became a Professor. Since 2003 Dr.Yalcin is working in Akdeniz University, School of Medicine in Antalya, Turkey.

Areas of interest: Dr.Yalcin especially works on hospital-acquired infections in intensive care units. Besides he is interested in new antibiotics, antibiotic resistance and pharmacoeconomics. Dr.Yalcin has more than 250 papers published in different national and international scientific journals. He has more than 80 oral and written presentations in national and international congresses and symposiums. He has more than 1400 citations. I edited five books and 35 book chapters.

Executive Committee Memberships: Turkish Society for Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (2011-2013, 2013-2015), Turkish Society for Hospital Infections and Control (2012-2014, 2014-2016).  

Awards: Dr.Yalcin is one of the most important scientists (ranking sixth) in Akdeniz University with many citations according to Google Scholar System. Dr.Yalcin got few awards in different Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology and Hospital-acquired Infections Congresses held in Turkey.

Dr. Singh is an adroit professional with more than 12 years’ experience in the field of forensic science. In his adroit and dexterous work tenure he has given his valuable expert opinion on more than 700 criminal cases. He is an expert in Fingerprint and Questioned Document sections of Forensic Science. He holds an eminent qualification and experience in his field of expertise. He attained his doctorate degree in Microbiology at Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, A. P., India in 2003 and from then he is continuous contributing in the uplifting and development of his field. His research area include Microbial Enzymes, Cellulalse, Protease, Laccase and Surfactants production and purification; Biological detoxification of lignocellulosic hydrolysates to enhanced bioethanol production and Biosynthesis of metallic and nonmetallic nanoparticles characterization and biological applications. He has published more than 165 papers in various research journals of international and national level. He has undertaken 4 research projects funded by UGC, DBT, DST and BRNS. He has attended 29 conferences/seminars/workshops of both international and national level.
