Dr. Mujagic is former Visiting Scholar and Professor at Harvard University Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard Cancer Center and former Clinical Review. He is also Board Member for Harvard University Cancer Center, Boston and former Consultant for Xanthus Pharmaceuticals, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Dr Sapkota is an overseas optometrist with research interests in visual functions of patients with diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. His other research interest include the use of vision-based tests in detection of early cognitive decline linked to dementia. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Optometry from Nepal in 2002. Following two-and-a-half years' service as an optometrist at a health institute in Nepal, he came to the UK to pursue higher education. He obtained his Master's degree in Investigative Ophthalmology and Vision Science (IOVS) from the University of Manchester in 2006, and a PhD from Anglia Ruskin University in 2010. Since then he has been working as a post-doctoral researcher in the Vision and Eye Research Unit at Anglia Ruskin University's Postgraduate Medical Institute.
