A Mini Review on: Fluorescent Sensors for Toxic Metal ions

by Keyur D. Bhatt, Kavit S. Mehta, Bharat A. Makwana, Surbhi V. Upadhyay

The molecular sensors growth for well-organized detection of detailed metal ion is a developing part in chemistry for the reason of their applications of potential analytical in various diverse grounds, comprising biology with chemistry, for determination of selectivity with various metal ions, method of fluorescent has been extensively used. Fluorescent molecular metal ion sensors turn into progressively essential as device for the measureable real-time observing of metal ion application in biological models. In these measuring device, a metal chelating site is regularly connected to fluorophore, and metal requisite affects the intensity of fluorescence of the compound. Carbon Fiber Epoxy Composites and Its Mechanical Properties

by Hitesh Pingle

Many materials are used in the field of aeronautical such as glass fiber, aluminum and so on. The application of composites materials are growing from customary areas (Aircraft engineering) to various fields (marines, automobile industry, civil engineering) because of the required qualities that can be attained by other constituent materials. In aeronautical industry, Carbon fiber reinforced composites are used for the manufacturing of different components of aircraft with the tight mechanical requirements. This paper discussed about the carbon fiber/epoxy and their strength compared to other composites. To know better understanding of mechanical properties of composites made from the epoxy resin and reinforced carbon fiber, different types of tests such as flexural strength, tensile strength, and compressive asset. The epoxy mastic works to improve the compressive property of composites. And this paper show the effects when carbon nanotube or nano-clay is added to the matrix of carbon fiber and epoxy. Keywords: Carbon Fiber, Epoxy, Flexural, Compressive, Tensile Strength

Utilization of Waste Borosilicate and Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) Glass

by Sudhanshu Dwivedi

Ground Soda Glass (SG) is used as additive which is a blended mixture of orthoclase feldspar, grog and quartz. These three types of local clays are taken from different sites. All raw materials include soda glass that is fully assessed thermally, chemically and mineralogically. For studying, the sodas glass was containing in gradual proportions with the effect of its contribution on the physical properties of the required fired samples which includes bulk density, water absorption and apparent porosity. The waste glass was used for the formation of glaze which is setup because of the absence of required fluxes for the formation of low temperature translucent glaze that are found in excessive amount in the form of waste which are thrown out because of its pollutant property. This paper discuss about the accessibility and use of particularly waste glasses for the formation of translucent glazes by the process of sieving the waste glass into fine particles known as cullet and recycling of cathode ray tube (CRT) glass waste. Keywords: Soda Glass (SG), Cullet, Glaze, Cathode ray tube (CRT)

Application of Material Used in Bulletproof Products

by Santosh Patidar

In the world of development and advancement, the material used for bulletproof products changes from natural simple plant or metal to the material with high strength. To obtain different strength level and various properties different types of materials are used. The amount of material used, impact strength of material affect the protection. In order to reduce the textile material the possibility of using shear thickening material are used. In recent days the synthetic text fiber are used for ballistic resistance. To resist the ballistic impact high performance textile material are used. For bullet proof vest Kevlar, carbon nanotube, nylon filament yarn can effectively fill the requirement. Against the high velocity ammunition multilayered armors, tracked by aramid fabric are presently used. As a substitute, lower cost of the jute fabric composite and lightness are also in favor. These material are used to give the protection to the product used in ballistic panel. The development of bulletproof material shows scientific strength as well as military strength of country. In this paper, we highlighted the uses of some radical complex material in field of bulletproof products. Keywords: Impact, Bulletproof, Fabric, Substitute, Intensity

Energy Storage System and Their Technologies

by Shayani Ghosh

Immediate response of electricity generated from renewable sources can rarely be provided because these supplies cannot deliver regular supply to consumption need. Greater network load stability is this decentralized production and it needs energy storage, which normally uses lead batteries as a potential solution. Lead batteries cannot reserve great quantities of energy in minor volume and also cannot resist high cycling rates. Therefore, various different kinds of storage techniques are being created and applied. This paper highlights the need of the storage of energy to make the power networks strengthened and to make the load levels maintained. Many kind of storage methods are discueesd here among which some are still under the development. Different techniques of electricity storage and their application are also discussed in this paper. Keywords: Renewable Energy, Storage Compressed Air, Batteries, Thermal Energy Storage
