Relation between the Culture and Language

For human, both language and culture are important. The characteristics and values of the nation show the culture of that country. This culture is reflected in the form of language in which one speaks. Language is considered as the most effective way for determining the identity of person and their cultural background. The establishing of the identity of one’s is difficult without language. Culture also give the influence on the language. Different nations have different cultures because of many factors such as geographical areas, social differences and culture patterns. These factors are very from country to country as one country follow the past premises while other country believes in the future generation due to which the sentence has become changed about the same thing. Stylistics Study in Literature and Language

In interpreting and understanding literature, stylistics play an important role. Stylistic-linguistic technique plays an important role in poetry writing as well as teaching. Stylistic and linguistic disciplines provides an opportunity to the teachers and students or writers to teach, write and study in a creative way. Pedagogical stylistics is defined as use of stylistics analysis for purpose of teaching it and studying literature. A stylistic analysis and study of literature will some or the other way help the students and people in all to improve their communication skills as they will get familiar to different languages. Language Perspectives, Applied Linguistics and Their Role in English Language Teaching

There are many researches has been carried out to understand and resolve the problems of language in general and in English language with applied linguistics. The phenomenon of language is very complex in general. According to the Finegan and Besiner, language is the limited system of elements and principles that ease the speakers to do their communicative jobs and to contruct their sentences. According to the Brumfit, applied linguistics is the theoretical and experimental investigation of of real world problems where language is the main problem. Applied linguistic is the emerging discipline in terms of Grabe. The aim of this article is to discuss applied linguistics with the context of English language teaching and gives a special emphasis to the influence of applied linguistics on English language and also discussed about the linkage between linguistics and language teaching. Official Languages of India: An Overview

To understand and communicate with the peoples in their region a set of vocal is produced by human which is known as language. India is a multilingual country, in terms of language India has a very iconic heritage. Constitution of India felt need to specify the language to be used in state function. The proposal of making Hindi language as an official language of the country should be made because more than 40% of people living in India uses Hindi as a language. Consequently Part XVII of the Indian Constitution provides the official language of the Union (Article 343-344). This paper gives a study of language with the history or origin of language which are specified as official scheduled languages in Schedule VIII of the Indian Constitution. English: A Language with Their Different Accents

Nowadays, English has become a second language (L2) called English as a second language (ESL), for most of the countries due to which it is essential for all the citizens. In the school, students learn this language but many problems are seen in learning this language. Accent is one of the problem that means the correct pronunciation of the words. Due to the childhood region, people have their original accent which they learn from the childhood. By their accent, the identity of the person can be determined. In English language, there are three circle, inner circle, outer circle and expending circle. Inner circle is the group or countries in which English is a native language such as Britain and America. This paper represents the accent and its role in the learning process. This paper also discussed about how English is a global language and Development of English.
